@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

Just to add 4mb fatpipe+bolt on I feel for you guys with the problems it can be very frustrating but have to say my account has been performing very well Cape Town area. Don't really download during the day but just started a nzb (shhhht Teamviewer ) and running at 425 KB/s and streaming on XBMC in the evenings no problems also cartoon HD etc.

I do not have speed problems with my fatpipe account (knock on wood), only the bolt-on product.

Hi, do you use fatpipe account for streaming or only for DL. I don't have problems with bolt-on for DL as well. Just is limited to 10Mb. My streaming went to ***** with bolt on account and i'm trying to find decent capped or uncapped account for my IP TV? Any ideas guys. How is Web Africa capped accounts for stable live TV streaming?

Hi. I use my fatpipe account only for DL. It used to be great during the day and evening, but lately the bolt-on account on my line during the evenings are not acceptable. (During the day I get near full speed on my 2mb line)

I'm getting to 4mbps with 187ms ping to cape town on the ten meg line tonight. Are there any problems? Was better before. Getting full speed when I switch to Afrihost.

It seems like every ISP gets a turn for endless problems that just don't seem to get sorted out. Luckily in kzn the bolt on still works very well, and for the price nothing compares.

Yep has been flying for me when I have used it from time to time - I feel like I am the only one on the highway :)

I'm in Cape Town and I'm getting this on a 10mb line:

Vox:

Also cant access MyBB without Switching to Afrihost.

AH Account:

Damn, this was so good back in the day. Pretty disappointing

Switching back to Vox now so I can get some downloads done. Sucks that I have to choose between downloading on Vox or browsing on some other ISP.

Hey, Roger, yes, I have similar stats in Cape Town at the moment! Clearly a technical problem to be attended to by Vox.

Frustrated, frustrating, frustration....

I've decided to not cancel my fat-pipe + bolt on (too good to let up), BUT, I've also decided to not use them anymore, as I feel they are slipping now (like AH), so I will use another ISP for now (I'll let my roll-over build (for what it's worth!) up) and see how things go...

Wingnut has your bolt on not been working well recently? My has worked perfectly over this month when I have used it.

Yours work, because you are durban. If you read the thread, you will know that everyone in Cape Town is having issues with their bolt-on.

This thread sure has been hijacked by many off topic discussion - this is just one example
That is a far fetch. Majority of the posts are about people complaining about issues in Cape Town. You single handedly pick a post and then state that is evidence the thread has gone off-topic. Rather absurd of you.
