@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

I'm usually the first to complain about my VOX fatpipe - but the past few weeks and days have been stellar (since the upgrades for CT).

HD Netflix, NNTP and Torrents fullspeed.

Have you tested other accounts ?

I have. In fact I have access to multiple accounts.

VOX gig4gig with bolt-on
FNBConnect 4Mbps uncapped
Web Africa 120GB
Afrihost 1GB test account
Cybersmart test account

On top of that, I have all those accounts connected on my Mikrotik, and the graph you see at the top of the page, is the only graph showing those latencies in the 6pm-11pm time window. If I don't see those same latencies on the Telkom guest account, I know for a fact it is not my line, but the ISP account on which those latencies show up.

So, not the same thing then.

Do you have the bolt-on as well? Because these problems are mainly on the bolt-on accounts.

Well /sigh...this is the bolt-on thread, there is a fatpipe thread where you should post your feedback.

Hope it comes right, fwiw a few weeks back VOX issues were affecting all of us, regardless of product.

Guess this is different then.

Is it just me or is the ping pretty shoddy as well as speeds?

Just switched to my WA account and suddenly internet feels alive. Was playing Insurgency on a local server at 3am or so and my ping was 184, when I first joined it was around 30. Nothing downloading, line was stable.

Trying to play some CoD now and Lag Deluxe Edition is what I was playing. Speedtest gave me an 84ms local ping.

Same here with me first time ive ever experienced shaping on this account I couldn't even get here on WI-FI latency normally is around 8ms for me now its around 30ms

EDIT: Latency is now in the 100s. now I know what you guys mean by mybb not opening

Yeah, myBB isn't opening and my torrents are completely dead. Nothing at all.

Quite annoying, download speeds are still fine on some things though. -shrugs-

South African internet! :D lol

VOX still works in Cape Town. All of you affected looks like Durban/JHB IPC links have issues.

I for one, route MyBB now permanently over my WebAfrica account, because I never know when it will not work on VOX.

Fatpipe dead in PE and DBN as well it seems ... was fine for me until 10 minutes ago. Now dead. Using AH.

VOX Cpt - all seems good. MyBB working just fine. Ping to 8.8.8.8 about 5% higher than what I expect it to be, but that is insignificant.

I also finally experienced no access to mybb today. Couldnt connect to apple/itunes either so my appletv was dead. Netflix was working fine though on other devices.
