@lantic R59 uncapped 'bolt-on' feedback

I do not like the whole 'that will be R50 signup fee sir' for every freaking product they have. Just to try out their uncapped bolt-on would cost me R100. Would like to try some of their other products too ... 'another R50 sir'... Not cool.

Perhaps you have a point. Although, paying a total of R100 setup and R59 for Uncapped internet (only after hours) with the first 1GB free for daytime usage is very good. Try signing up to any other ISP for uncapped for less than R190 (for a 1M line). So even with the setup fees you are still about R30-R40 below the other ISP's if you want to test their setup. Perhaps not cool, but still cheaper. Also, the other ISP's ask different prices for different line speeds. Ask the brothers with the 4m and 10m lines how much cheaper Atlantic is. :D
 
No doubt cheaper. If you plan to stay or should I say when you plan to stay it will be well worth it. 4mb line maxed after hours no problem. In fact I have yet to see shaping or my account being slowed. Noting and over 100GB usage already.

The thing it not oly good for download. Youtube and justin.tv and twitch.tv stream flawlessly so I'm uber happy with this account!!!

I have a 1M line, and I am also very very happy with this. I am itching to move up to a higher speed line, but it will make my internet too expensive. I have heard rumors that Telkom is going to upgrade the lines soon. According to rumors all 1M lines will be upgraded to 2M lines. That will be great.

Great account, great service. Works full line speed - 620Kb. Having small problem with my authentication now and then. Support is busy looking in to it. Signing process is not very convenient, but once is done, it's a pleasure to use the product.

Think its safe to say that this is one of the best accounts I have EVER had. I just had to see if its for real cause I want to cancel my uncapped now. This account is just awesome. I have yet to see my connection slowed. Its just max speed all the way. Some people can't even get this usage on uncapped accounts that download 24/7. Now for me to get this usage only afterhours and I don't download the weekend much cause I play online is pretty impressive!

Although I am cautious still, I do second your statement. I do not download as much as you, but I already downloaded over 40GB from the first of June (that is around 2.6GB average per day). I can find no other ISP that offers uncapped as cheap as Atlantic. Although it is only after 6 in the evenings, it is still a great option for only R59
 
Yes although I dod not usually download this much and do about 80 -100GB MAX a month I was really just checking to see how the service is and it actually wants me to like just use more. I stream video and music so it chows bandwidth. Can't really believe that this is actually a legit service.

That said I did have a couple of stuff queued from previous month so wanted to finish it this month.
