Was originally set up as a dealers page for my usual dealers, now it’s open for members on this forum and Carbonite, as Incant post all my items. Like I said in the thread it’s more of an online inventory, and not an E-commerce shop. Make sense?
 
Ok, I realize I am totally coming out of left field here, but here goes.
I have bought from Martin on two occasions.
One a Dell and one a Yoga 910 (using it right now)
This was before he had a website and only sold via Gumtree.
Both machines were brand new and sealed. I went to his house where he opened them in front of me so I could inspect them before I paid through any money.
I was able to register both on their respective support websites and both had support in South Africa.
I have personally ever had an issue, and am currently looking at buying a Microsoft Surface from him.

I am in no way associated with this company.
I only know Martin through Gumtree and have only met him on the two occasions mentioned above.

Just my 2c worth

Are those brand new units sealed in their original packaging?
 
Anyone know if their Microsoft Office works ? Really cheap for the licence.

Yip just waiting for flashgear to load it on his website. Dont mind paying R 100 more as long as it is legit. The price in stores is ridiculous

That's what I did at the beginning of this year.

Lenovo X1 Carbon (2016 version)
250GB m2 SSD
8GB RAM
Intel i7 CPU
2560x1440 14"screen
+/- R15,500 delivered (Rand was about R12.50 - R13.00, I think. Shipping was about R2,500).
Was +/- $1040.
 
I've bought a laptop and software from Ghost /Flashgear.
Collected from him in JHB North. All legit.
 
I was wondering about LaptopsAtCost, my search got me to this post. After reading most of these comments, I decided to buy software from Martin. I got very good service at a very good price. Highly recommended. Reason for my post: The very first post asked for someone who actually bought from him, and I did.
