Howzit guys

Quick question to the experts:

I'm looking at buying a secondhand Tv for the bedroom and can get these 2 at R3500 each. My question is which is better and why?

UA40EH5000R
UA40D5000PR

Will be buying by Frid

Typical usage will be for watching football in HD and Series maybe a bit of PS4

Thanks

anyone?

The D is a year older (2010) than the EH (2011).

IIRC the D uses edge lit LED backlighting, and it has a slimmer bezel. Better aesthetically, but more prone to light bleed/spots.

The ES range from 2011 was the equivalent of the D, with edge lit LED backlighting and slim bezel.

I doubt there will be much in it, perhaps go for the newer one.

I need some advice
The t.v. Listed in picture is available for sale by a friend of mine at staff price
Basically the guy will charge me R39000
Is it worth it?
Is it available cheaper anywhere else

If everything is legit, then you should be jumping all over this deal. Profit margin is HUGE!!!!!!!

I'm sure someone would buy it from you at a profit. These TV's are way overpriced either way, yet seem to be selling.

I'd appreciate any feedback, from the Postman or anyone else.

Looking at getting a new TV. Currently on a 32" Samsung LCD which has been excellent.

TV sits in lounge. Used for movies and sport. Viewing distance 3m+.

Considering these options:
50” Phillips LED from Dionwired at R7200.00

48” Samsung from Kalahari at R7499.00 plus a R500 voucher

http://www.kalahari.com/Technology/Samsung-UA48H5100-Series-48-Full-HD-LED-Television_p_49057194

42” LG from Takealot for R4599.00

http://www.takealot.com/jvc-42-full-hd-dled-tv/PLID32533201

Max budget is around 7k.

Any recommendations?

The difference between 42" and 50" massive?

Thanks :)

Personally, I would go this route. http://www.guzzle.co.za/specials/view/827478/

It just depends on how bright / dark the room is, etc.

I purchased a 42'' LG FHD 3D TV from Makro for R5,999. Thought it was a helluva bargain.

The LGs seem quite popular.

I'm trying to go as big as possible, while staying within budget and not sacrificing size for quality or brand..

So far I'm leaving towards the 48" Sammie from Kalahari...

Apparently there is a lurking plasma stalker. He will visit your house in the middle of the night to gaze upon your screen before they leave this world forever.

People are scared of him
