I also have another question for you. My father-in-law (to-be) just bought a 46" LED (yes I know) 3d TV. I dont know the model, but its a Samsung.
When you watch a movie in either 720p or 1080p (off a flash stick) it looks really weird. I know its a 3d TV, but I would have thought that only 3d specific blue0-rays would look 3d-ish. The thing is, that even the 2d stuff looks bloody weird to me. Its almost like its more "real", even a bit toonish if that makes sense... Makes you feel like you not watching a movie, but rather sitting there with them.
Now while this sounds all good and well, it actually isnt. I find it quite distracting and Im wondering if these new 3d TV's offer some more depth of field or something, that makes the image appear different (in terms of above)
