The whole idea of measuring the success or failure of 'prophetic quotes' is to measure it against some time-frame.
The MTN quote had a specific date (December 2004) so it was easily measurable. For quotes without a specific time limit, you can only judge it once it is patently clear the original statement is now clearly false ("Computers will weight 1.5 tonnes", "640K of RAM is enough for everyone", etc.)
The "unsustainable" quote has not had enough time to be proved either correct or false.
