Let's talk about Sci-Fi movies

My Sci-fi picks in a random scrolling down in my Plex movie folder sort of order.
I haven't listed everything, and I've sort of avoided the usual suspects - Star Wars, Blade Runner etc, but its a good eclectic mix of stuff. The first two are excellent if you 'get' them.

Dredd (2012:Karl Urban)

Thought it was really good for a movie that had a smallish budget.

Loved it. I thought it had a lot of balls (sadly missing from movies today in general), was gory and true to the material like a Dredd movie should be, the story was self-contained and just threw you into the world, and karl urban was solid.

Added to the fact that it was a much better and truer representation than the Stallone one.
 
I could never choose a favourite but movies like RoboCop, Terminator, Aliens, Predator, Fifth Element, Matrix (1st one only was pretty much perfect) are right up there for me
