Definitely , I find Tom Cruise really throws his body on the line in these movies, stunt double or not, the action doesn't feel CGI.
Star Wars obviously must be on any scifi list. Please tell me you've heard about those
Lawnmower man dates back to 1992...that's a long time ago, too much was happening back then with apartheid and all the politics, never had time to think about movies back then. No wonder I've never heard of it.
Did you mention a movie called Star Wars, with star destroyers, Obie Wan, Sky Walker, Darth Vader, Yoda and an awesome Death Star which was destroyed by a lucky torpedo? No never heard of it
It's sad to see that Lucas films sold it to Disney. I want another Star Wars that is either a continuation or a new story like 500 year's ahead of the time Star Wars left off, that will give us new characters but it just has to give a few references to the old films. But no, now we have this Clone Wars stuff, it isn't even well animated, It wouldn't surprise me if it's a kids movie, oh wait, its playing on Cartoon network I see.
The only way it could get worse is a Goofy Obie Wan and Mickey Mouse Darth Vader.
Sigh, but I don't think I can complain, I really don't think Lucas films would have released another film but seriously, I'd rather have Marvel or DC comics buy the franchise, gee even Dream Works would be better.

Question, how is Star Trek different to Star Wars? No boring council meetings, no Jar Jar Binks and no ship as awesome as a death star.

I like all movies that have at least one of the following genres:
Science -fiction
Super hero
Animation
Action
Except Bollywood and Twilight.
But if it has one of those genres with an interesting plot and high budget, chances are, I'll enjoy it. Just like the Hunger Games, but it is by no means my favorite.
In my opinion even x-men days of future past was better.
