LG G3: Screen and Battery Issues

Hi There.

I would just like to know if anybody has experienced a slightly yellow tint, as well as issues with battery life on some LG G3s. Compared to my friends G3 (as shown above), my screen is slightly yellow - and my battery life is incredibly limited. He has used his phone on full brightness for 1hr30m, whilst I have used mine on 70% brightness for 35m, and we both have the same battery percentage left.

That surely cannot be correct? Only difference is that I am on MTN, and he is on Vodacom. Would lack of signal sometimes during the day make that much of a difference?

Other than that, app syncing etc is the same.

Your signal quality does look poor and you're using Mobile data.

Yup, feared as much. Even when using wifi, the same battery issues occur.

Done that quite a few times. No amount of resets help...

Bad signal is a battery killer. Download Network Signal Info (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.android.telnet) and see what you signal is like in the areas you use it the most.

My battery life used to be brilliant then all of a sudden it took a dive.
I went back to stock 4.4 on Sun, then upgraded to 5 again. Battery is once again solid and lasting forever.

When I'm in poor signal areas I just turn my mobile data off and my battery stops dropping. Unless it's at your house?

I traveled to the UK a few weeks back and had the same issue with battery life. Seems that any signal related issues causes really bad battery drain.
