Was your location set to high accuracy GPS mode or networks only battery saving mode?So after updating to Marshmallow i was experiencing the most horrific battery life.
It would literally be at 50% after 6 hours. This was with - WiFi Only, 1 hour music, 1 hour on-screen time, basic facebook/whatsapp. Thats it. Did a bit of googling and found that its the damn location, it just saps the battery.
Turned it off and now its sitting at 95% after 4 hours off charge, 50m on-screen time, 1 hour music, basic facbook/whatsapp with mobile data.
Honestly cannot believe the difference, so if anyone else wants a nice battery boost, disable location finding and only enable when needed.
Was your location set to high accuracy GPS mode or networks only battery saving mode?
My battery life is hideous after the MM update, I leave location running in battery saving mode, same with LP but the battery was fine then.

I'll give that a try, maybe there's some location bug that chows the battery.Ya difference in a day. Yesterday full day at work, 12 hours since charge and it was on 30%. Today with location off and Same usage 70%. Unbelievable. Happy now![]()
That's the best mode, still can detect your location albeit not as accurately but good enough for most purposes and battery not sucker punched.excuse my ignorance, but my battery seems to be OK at the below setting - is there a better option? disadvantages if chosen?

On phone atm can't copy direct link.
Yeah I flashed it after I posted that. It is still 6.0. But seems like updates are coming out quite frequently, so 6.0.1 can't be far off.Have you loaded it yet, is it something like a 6.01 release?
How well tested is it, it's not one of those services you disable and then find out a few days later it has dependencies that affect the phones basic functionality, something like sms only arriving hrs after being sent etc or Google play verification? Here is how to disable MLT.
Apparently it is LG software baked into device to track all your activities on your G4.
XDA guys state it can save up to 300mb ram.
I disabled it and the phone feels smoother.
1. Dial - *#546368#*815# (note that 815 is the LG G4 model number e.g LGD815)
2. Tap on SVC MENU
3. Tap on LDB
3. Uncheck "Enable"
4. Restart and Enjoy
Well I've done it now.
