Yes same problem but not everyday. It has happened about 5 times in the past week and a half. I made a backup and reset everything to factory default and restored so will see if it happens again
 
My G4 is not giving me any problems. Only for the 3 or 4 times when the "Knock to wake" didn't want to work and I had to use the hardware button at the back.

I really can't complain about this phone. It's really flawless.
 
What are you guys paying for insurance for your G4?

I decided to go with techsured.co.za

They quoted me R155 per month with only R250 excess for damage claims and first month of insurance is free too. It covers for theft,accidental damage and total loss. It also covers for R10 000 on the unauthorized use of my Cellc contract since that is my OOB limit with Cellc and a replacement sim and sim swap fee.

Not a bad price since Cellc Csure is saying R189 per month and R650 for damage claim. So much more than techsured.co.za

I also see that techsured is a part of Exactmobile group so not sure how good they are.
 
I went to go and do a upgrade for my mom today. Got her the Black G4. So she gave me the black leather back cover because she likes the plastic cover more.

Now I have the Brown Leather, Black Leather and Gold Plastic back covers.

These covers are R650 each from LG.

Finally got to play around with a G4 and have to say it's quite a stunning device! Love the thin edges and handling is way better than I expected, screen is also fantastic as is the camera so looks like my perfect phone.. Does LG offer a smart stay feature on the G4? Couldn't find one while checking it out, I use my phone for a lot of reading so that would be a disappointment if one isn't included..
 
Do you guys think the G4 is worth R100 per month more than the G3?

what apps are you using for reading? the app should keep the screen on. i use google play books.

Mostly using the Chrome browser and a couple of news reading apps.

Definitely think the G4 is worth the extra money over the G3. Also consider that if you want any updates for your G3 you might have to wait a while.
