LG Scarlet LCDs = Crap?

My GF told me LG is pulling back all Scarlet LCD's, due to some incompatabilities with the PS3 or something...anyone know anything about it?

I'm so glad I didn't buy it.
 
I had an LG screen, friend had one, have an LG TV....

ALL ARE CRAP...

The damn screens go funny after 3 years...

I have bought a Samsung, brother bought a Samsung, and NEVER BEEN HAPPIER...

Leave LG, go for Samsung....

PS.

Samsung make supply most of the panels for lcds.... (Last time I read)...

Agree LG stands for Lousy Goods, but regarding the incompatibility with the PS3, I doubt thats the problem.
 
Ah..i will find out the source of her statement, and maybe report back with a link/scan

I can't believe it would have probs with a PS3, but that's what she said.
 
LG is the biggest load of crap - stay away! I mean everything, not just LCD's
 
i have a LG226WTQ 22" LCD monitor, and it is rated as being better than the Samsung 226BW...

Haven't had any problems and all games / movies / anything plays fine on it...

Suppose you lot still think that Ford is crap as well.. :confused:

LG = Lucky Goldstar, the co used to be known as Goldstar before.
Have a crt TV and double door LG fridge and both work very well
after many years.
 
I only buy LG DVD-RAM's, work perfect for me and they get excellent reviews. Apart from that I've bought a LG CRT, was a POS, but not everything they make sucks, we have microwave from LG that's EXCELLENT quality (LOTS of functionality) and hasn't given a days trouble.

My mom also uses a LG top lid washing machine to wash medical garments and such (before boiling them), and it's still going strong after 5 years.
 
Have a LG Goldstar and LG Golden Eye Swing TV for about 10 years now. The Goldstar had a problem with the power button 2 years ago, but other than that no problems :)

Don't have anything against Samsung either.
 
Samsung seem more reliable imo, altough my mate has a LG goldeneye and its still going strong 6 years later
