They should at least allow user to log into their accounts.
Speculation. Still don't think it will be video. Though maybe aimed more at After Effects but again Fusion in Resolve sort of gets you there. Guess we'll see tomorrow.

Makes sense from a software perspective. You never own something and they gaurenteee a steady income. Perfect business model.Funny, it isn't unusual. I have loads of LTDs which are grandfathered. Companies are simply not growing sufficiently with a perceptual licensing model.

But it kind of goes against the grain of serrif's "buy once, lifetime upgrades free". Won't surprise me though. Only way to keep on making money currently is to create new content packages and software and continue growing their users aka deliver a product that takes users away from Adobe.
My guess is on a new program to add to the suite.
The website being down doesn't make sense though... which might mean an addition of a subscription model... who knows.
It's pretty clear from Apple's iPad pro page that they'll be launching a iPad version of Publisher but the video strongly hints of one more thing...
They are not going to be switching to a subscription model, at least not now. They'd be driving people back to Adobe.

Imagine that the announcement is that all accounts will be converted to monthly subs. Grandfathered y'all.
If they integrated it directly into Photo etc. it would be pretty cool. At a very basic level imagine you've done some artwork and can then issue a command like: Remove all the circles on my canvas. Or make all the red circles green. Or add 6 o clock shadow to all the circles etc. Basically using the tech not just to generate images but to more intuitively manipulate your own works on the fly.AI image generation is another valuable and very versatile tool to add to the collection. Pretty sure Serif (Affinity) will be doing "something" AI related considering the movement of AI image generators (Stable Diffusion, Dall-E2, Midjourney etc) and the inclusion of these capabilities into the likes of Photoshop (neural filters, Adobe Sensei) and Luminar.
That’s nice. Not relevant to this thread though.I love using photoshop.
