Linux Certification

Cant go wrong with either.
I think companies will accept you with either.
If you do Comptia's one, you can get Linux+, then you can get your results sent to LPI so you will have your LPI as well and then you can register to get Novell's qualification.
So basically 3 birds with 1 stone.

Also if you feel comfortable after you have your LPI, then you can do a fast track into the Red Hat certifications afaik.

Hi

Maybe the old sages of Linux will assist me here.....:)

what is the prerequisites with Linux +?
I have done my Basic/intermediate IT tech qualifications already, and I want to continue into Linux +
I worked a bit back in the day with DOS a little bit, and I want something that gives me an edge over everybody who is M$

I really want to continue on Linux as almost everybody I meet knows M$ in some way,
what would be a good starting point into the Linux field? for somebody who knows a bit of M$ and is willing to keep an open mind.
or is it simply a matter of installing it and playing around with Ubuntu in some other way or form.
