I have a rebranded MSI Wind (Proline U100) and am looking for a linux distro which is REALLY simple and FAST and EASY PEASY to use. It needs to email EASILY, browse the web EASILY, and "JUST WORK :D". It also needs to support the wifi and card reader and have drivers for everything.

What would you recommend for this?

Thanks

Ubuntu netbook remix.

Next year google OS and Moblin will be available too which should be easy too.

Hi

I am posting this from my MSI Wind running Ubuntu 9.04. Everything worked perfectly out of the box. I installed using the alternate CD and have set up full disk encryption as well so if my laptop gets stolen my data is safe.

EasyPeasy ;)

Just to clarify, there is actually a netbook specific version of ubuntu if someone didn't understand Aqua_lung. I hear it is pretty light!

Yip, Ubuntu Netbook remix.
Using it on my Acer Aspire one. Works like a charm.
:D
