Between 1974 and 1983, the Armed Forces of National Liberation of Puerto Rico, of Marxist-Leninist ideology, perpetrated 120 attacks in which 6 people were killed.
Between 1975 and 1984, the United Freedom Front (UFF), a small criminal organization with Marxist ideology, perpetrated a score of attacks, killing one person.
Between 1978 and 1985, the May 19th Communist Organization perpetrated various attacks and robberies, killing 3 people.

And, as I pointed out, they escalate. The nazis and african dictators built up hatred over time, they didn't change laws on the fly

Erm, the communists were their leaders?

Remember how the post '94 gov would not recognise sadf veterans? The sadf were the bad guys and the anc has been aligned with the communists since forever, they were trained by the communists and they are still aligned with the sacp till this day.

Go read the tripartite alliance NDR, it's a communists manifesto.

I'm fully aware of that. However, can you imagine what would have happened to SA if Russia and Angola got SWA and South Africa during those times?

I don't think they care or are under the misguided impression that it would have been sunshine & roses for them. They still embrace communism to this day so I doubt they would see it as a bad thing, one thing I'm 100% sure of is that the sadf is prime evil in their eyes for fighting their comrades in arms.

I can just imagine what Africa would have been. They would have had access to our Nukes too and the location of South Africa is a very good strategic point. God I'm glad we held them off!
 
Time to design a flag that we can all relate to.....maybe just incorporate all the old flags colours...?

so the orange white and blue could be representative of one group, add blue and red for another, which other colours, strange that i think of black yellow and green for another group but those are anc colours which is a politcal party which is not really a representation of other groups is it. its on our flag though, dodgy.

Some of you guys might need to do a bit more reading. Many people (including the World Bank) have argued that many of South Africa's current problems are caused by an incomplete transition, and I agree that this is part of the problem we have in current SA society. Yes, the ANC messed things up because it was meant to handle that transition, but we're here now and there are issues that need to be addressed.

Yeah doesn't sound like it. Freedom of speech also means the right to be a dick. That is the only middle ground that doesn't lead you down the slippery slope. Believe it or not if this decision stands it's the final nail in the coffin and like in Zim you'll soon have no right to criticise the ruling government. Malema is already asking for removal of "Die Stem". You think he'll stop at that? If you agree with this you'll have no problem and be right at home in Germany.

Don't get me wrong. It was wrong to display the flag at the Black Monday protests just like the #allmenaretrash campaign was wrong. You don't antagonise the people you are speaking to. At the same time though people are choosing what to see. The only reason some see it as the "apartheid flag" is because of the new monstrosity. They didn't even put any artistic effort into it in their hurry to get rid of the old one. But face it not all countries get rid of their old flag after a revolution. For some reason people afterwards choose to see their old flag as a bad symbol or not. We never had the discussion then about what it is and what it means. That's the problem.

It's like the tool in your pants. You keep it there and unless you are a dirty raincoat type, you only take it out and use it when necessary. I don't have a problem with that.
I have a problem when I get told to keep my tool in my pants when everyone else is doing the helicopter. It's ok for them to do so, but not ok if I do so.

If customs or SAPS intercepted and opened it up to inspect it, and had their eyes assaulted, tortured and aggrieved and their brains harmed by its magnificent beauty and fine weave, do you think that it might incite them to hurtful harmfulness to the extent that they might even expunge their own eyes, or even drive them to commit a violent and bloody suicide?
