I always knew about the catchup, but not the live streaming of channels:

That's a pretty decent list.
 
At the best of times the Supersport stream is shoddy and unreliable. It has been steadily deteriorating. Not sure why.

CDN provisioning? It's effectively a free service to premium subscribers so I can't imagine Multichoice are investing much in it.
