I find I cannot read when stressed - and I get stressed when the power goes off, due to potential losses. I as studying at the moment through UNISA (15th year of 3!!!), and battle to study when my mind id awash with worry.

Yeah - the problem with posts like mine above, is they are time dependent.


I am annoyed now by this:
Electricity usage is still at very high levels but steady. Help avoid more interruptions. Please switch off geysers and all non-essential appliances, except the TV and a room light.

What will happen if ALL businesses get fed-up with this and for one day TRIP their own supply breaker and give staff the day off (or afternoon)? Will eskom be able to cope with the OVER supply they'll have then!?!? :-D

Perhaps they have been so busy lighting up Africa in secret over the years that they forgot about their own Home! (which is typical of Pres. Mbeki's governing style)

They only succeeded in supplying power to the townships.
As it's for free they were not worried about building more generators.

Does anyone know if Koeberg is down?
