Load shedding will hit today

Power utility Eskom has announced that stage one load shedding will be in effect on Thursday (29 November) between 12h00 and 22h00.

Fck my life. According to City Power parkhurst to be shed from 16:00 - 20:30 today on Stage 1.

Guess I will be getting take aways on my way home and popping a sleeping tablet tonight.

But in the same breath they moan about declining demand affecting their profits:

City of Cape town don't supply all of Cape metro of electricity. My bill comes from eskom, but my metro is city of Cape town. Tableview area is also eskom.
