Hey guys

My Canon printer finally packed up. It's constantly given me issues and was so difficult to work with. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for any good printers? I'm willing to spend a bit extra if it means it'll work well and last long.

Requirements:
- Colour
- Laser
- WiFi printing
- Scanner

I'm based in Pretoria and I'd prefer to buy something from a store so I can have it up and running quickly.

Thanks a lot

I'm looking into printers at the moment too, and have more or less settled on the Epson Ink Tank range of printers. Reviews seem positive, and the ink tanks are far more economical than ink cartridges. They just aren't cheap (R2500+), but will pay themselves off over their lifetime.

Thanks a lot. I'll have a look

What's your price range?

Do NOT buy a Brother printer. Got one of their expensive models three months ago and it's been such a massive let-down. Nothing special about the print quality and it's so slow I pull my hair out nearly every time. Crap drivers, crap hardware UI etc. No redeeming qualities.

I'll spend whatever I need to so that I can get something which is great quality and works flawlessly. Saving a few bucks isn't worth it if I have to struggle with a crappy printer for a few years.

FYI Matrix Warehouse has an unbeatable special on the Epson L386 printer/scanner: R3500 at Takealot and only R1999 on this special ... and you get R400 back from Epson themselves.

I just bought one :)

Tell them to check their own special brochure, in case they didn't know about it.

Standard pricing *is* R2 999, but it's on promotion until March 6 for R1 999. I bought it up in Pretoria, but the special is on P3 of their latest national brochure: https://matrixwarehouse.co.za/content/11-promotions
