Hey guys compliments of the season
I am looking to purchase a new laptop for Uni (App Development).
Context
I've been stuck for the past two days in making a decision and wanted to know if you guys could help me out.
So I'm not looking to be spoon fed it's just that this is a lot of cash (to me anyways) and I don't want to regret it 6 months down the line.
This whole 9th gen vs 10th gen is really messing me around xD but I don't really care so long as the machine good enough to get me through Uni.
I will be traveling to and from campus everyday via public transport until I can find a lift club into my area.
This led me to think of getting a 14" and a really tough sleeve or backpack but I don't want something underpowered.
The last laptop I had got the display crushed when I stood like a sardine in the train carriage and people were squeezing into. (Safe to say I stick to Taxi's now)
Here's what I've narrowed it down to:
Budget is 15k/16k absolute max.
Option #1 - https://www.evetech.co.za/lenovo-id...650-gaming-laptop/laptops-for-sale/13186.aspx
Option #2 - https://www.computermania.co.za/asus-x571gd.html
Option #3 - https://www.computermania.co.za/dell-inspiron-3593-10th-gen-intel-core-i7-512gb-ssd.html
What I'll be using it for:
Thanks in advance guys I really appreciate your opinions.

What I'll be using it for:
- Programming Java/Python - I'm planning on learning a lot more once I have a good understanding
- Editing Videos in Adobe Premiere - Probably up to 1080p
- Web Development - HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Encoding media
- I dual boot into Linux (Ubuntu/Mint/Arch/Manjaro) I'm not really fussed about which distro so long as it works well with my hardware.
- Multitasking - I always have like 20/30 tabs open in my browser, Netbeans, Sublime, Soundcloud, Spotify, Discord
- Decent Warranty
- Decent display - Minimum 1080p display
- Decent battery life - anything above 3 - 4 Hours
- In terms of ports I don't really have an issue aside from HDMI but I can always get an adapter if it doesn't have one.
Thanks in advance guys I really appreciate your opinions.
