LTE : Afrihost vs Telkom sim

Hope you guys can assist!

I am currently using the Afrihost package with their LTE router but was wondering if I could get a Telkom LTE sim (possibly prepaid) to test in the same router.

I do not want to get the Telkom LTE package over 24 months until I know that I get improved speed at a reduced cost.

Afrihost makes sense at the moment as its month-to-month but is a bit more expensive than Telkom

What model LTE router is it?

Just google, and check that it supports LTE on TDD-2300Mhz, if it does, then you're good to go.

^If that checks out, all you need to do is change the APN on the LTE Router from afrihost to what ever the Telkom SIM uses.

I think they all use the internet apn

You will probably have to change the APN, as I had a Afrihost sim in my Telkom LTE B593 router some time ago while testing them out too.
