LTE router upgrade/backup

B618-22d, same as the poster here.

When the WiFi router is shipped from Afrihost, our Warehouse Team does make sure that the firmware is as up to date as possible. The moment that newer firmware is available you should see a pop-up on the WiFi router's interface. Unless it requires an urgent update, there can be some time between updates.

Is there a working dd-wrt or open-wrt firmware for the B618?

Although one thing which still perplexes me is what on earth happened to the pretty white casing?!? Why does my router now suddenly look so ugly??

Has anyone worked out how to backup the settings on a B618s-22d?
I'm having issues on mine and it would be useful to be able to restore them after fiddling.
