Hi All,
We have a problem with cell towers during load-shedding where the MTN simcard shows connection (4/5 bars) but no data traffic during loadshedding. . .when loadshedding is over, it has data connectivity again.
We have a small network with 7 Wifi CCTV cameras in a factory that the security company monitors when the alarm is triggered during loadshedding hours.
On that little network is a TP-Link LTE Router and the 7 wifi cameras.
Is there an LTE-router available that has dual simcards, where the one simcard can act as fallback for when the other simcard loses connection/traffic ?
We have good signal with both Telkom and MTN during normal non-loadshedding times, but the simcards experience connection issues during loadshedding, sometimes the Telkom simcard works and the MTN not, other times MTN works and Telkom doesnt.
Thanks for the help !
