Btc price differs from exchange to exchange.

Local exchange prices are generally a lot higher when comparing it to international exchanges, because btc is a lot more scarce in RSA, and people are willing to pay the inflated price locally.

So the price on luno is accurate for luno. That it's the price local people using luno are willing to pay for 1btc.

Off course as bitcoin becomes more mainstream locally, the local prices should fall more inline with international exchanges.

I have tried EVERY avenue i can think of and came across this thread by chance :

Luno - please - I need to get back into my account - its been 2 weeks now and I'm locked out due to 2FA issue between my old and new phones. I logged a ticket ( #314799 ) to have my 2FA removed - sent a photo and ID info as per your requested email, but I see 2FA is still enabled on my account.

Please can someone look into this.

You will also see many unhappy people posing on your FB page also, so this is not only a plea from my side but on their behalf too.

Made payment and clicked the i made the deposit button in luno.
What happens after?
it loaded a new page and then almost immediately refreshed and i had to sign into luno again.

You will get an email or app notification showing deposit received. Refresh your Luno account, mine usually reflects in under 5min.
 
I'm commenting here out of desperation, I paid R1500 into my Luno account from my ABSA cheque account on the 18th of December and it is still not reflecting. I've raised 3 x separate support tickets but have yet to get a reply to any of them, and I always included the ref number and proof of payment. Where to from here? The total lack of any contact numbers or email addresses make this whole thing seem rather shady.

Yip, I triple checked :-/.

Everyone I know that’s had this issue was their own fault, they used a 1 instead of an L, or Visa versa, or some similar error. (Always copy/paste to avoid human error)
Go triple check this again, as well as Lunos bank account details on your internet banking.

I just pulled the details from the Luno site and my online banking beneficiary settings, and plakked them side by side in Notepad, reference number and account numbers are identical :-/. I've seen elsewhere the PM'ing user Lunomoney might help, but that user no longer accepts PM's for some reason...

Yes make 100 sure ,entered an s instead an x in the BX no on the 8dec2017 and still have no recognition from Luno,think thats very poor .Even had Lunomoney on this site put in a word in on my behalf,sent in tickets297551,300514,and on 18th Dec 318621.No joy,getting worried that they have banked my money to pull a Steinhoff on us.
 
You lucky mine was 8th dec with a faulty ref s instead of x in BX.Still no joy. Dont copy and paste in ABSA it wont work .They brag in their notes that their people can pickup a faulty ref....all their Refs begin with BX and mine said BS and rest correct...think they just bragging.Pretty poor I must admit ,sent my proof of payment twice..

I have been waiting on my end for 2hrs now sending Ethereum. Quite concerned as Eth is supposed to be fast. Says pending since 2pm @lunomoney
 
Has anyone moved their coins from Luno to a hardware wallet (Ledger Nano S), is this possible and are there any fees involved?
