Luno Support and Queries Thread

Hi Luno, I am having trouble logging into my account.

I have been using 2 factor authentication, but the code didnt work many times, not sure whether my phone's time was not syncing. I only saw you could change the time syncing on/off after my account had been locked

I tried to log in many times and it kept not accepting the 2FA code and now my account is locked.

How do I reset 2FA? I clicked the reset 2FA button, but it just takes me to the login page.

Pls help, I have also submitted a ticket and I have gone through luno's help page in detail.
 
I lost out on more than 2% and actually ended up with less because of this pos platform. I sent them a ticket to request the transaction fees they took from me which is about 2%. It's the least they can do after not making proper provision. But it will take another 4 days in I'm lucky for them to respond.

I was in active trades when it didn't give me access to my funds so actually lost both money and btc. That's different from it being unavailable to everybody. An exchange should either be offline or fully online and not partially available.
 
Asked you guys months ago to add feature where I could see BTC USD price for IOS as you have it on Android app. When?
Also asked them for a feature not to select the default opposing values for buying and selling and even prevent placing taker orders. Trades should be able to be placed with a single click without any risk. But hey doesn't matter, make a mistake and it's on you, nothing to prevent mistakes you don't want to make in the first place.
 
No, don't ascribe to malice that which can be attributed to incompetence. Their DB servers are probably overloaded and the transactions are being queued.
No queuing when it comes to placing orders. Only when canceling them and returning the funds. Never attribute to incompetence what can be attributed to selective issue management. Place a selling order and it works, only to keep your funds till the price rebounds again and you lose. Very suspicious.

You can disable 2FA by logging in up until the point you're asked for your 2FA codes, you're prompted with links from there to start the process. You're welcome to PM me your ticket ref# so I can check up on the status.

Im certain I answered this yesterday. If on the Luno app open a support ticket, they will send you a mail to reset the 2FA.

If that does not work try it on their site as I had the same issue a while back. Just remember that the account will be locked for 24 hours.

Yes I clicked the link from there, but it simply takes me into an infinite loop. It shows an "account recovery" image very quickly, then jumps back to the page that says "welcome back" and asks for login details (which only leads to the account locked page).

If I can remember correctly I also struggled doing it through the app and eventually I just opened a ticket explaining the situation and then I received instructions from Luno how to resolve it.

Ok just checked now, you have to do it from the website and not the app.

The delays experienced yesterday were way worse than anything that happened on Monday. Having to wait over 20 minutes to do a trade when the price is moving around fast is insane. Hopefully Mybb does another article and some of the larger overseas Exchanges take notice. The demand for a proper Exchange here is obvious and our fees are high with decent volumes so profitability shouldn't be an issue.
 
My deposit is still not in. I submitted my ID document after making my deposit and that has already been confirmed

LUNO, you need to do something, or you're going to lose your customers. This is people's MONEY you're playing with. It's not acceptable to just restore the service, there are lost trading opportunities. You need a permanent fix. You didn't complain about "too few resources" when you expanded into Europe.
Neither when they said won't give people their bitcoin hold tokens...

They making money on that!
 
And it's happening again. Did a test and funds not returned to wallet while price is moving down. This is ridiculous, SHUT THE DAMN THING DOWN AND FIX IT FIRST!!!

Please respond or comment about the delays in trading? Could you please let us know whats going on when you hope to be back to normal?
