Luno Support and Queries Thread

This was months ago. I don't have any more cash to "invest." I know when I've made payments from Capitec funds always become available by 8 PM. But for some reason Luno only allocates those funds the next morning. I just don't understand how an automatic system can work like that.

A lot has changed over the last few months.
Inter-bank transfers are generally slower need at least 48 hours to clear properly. It's allocated to your wallet within minutes of reaching our bank account.

Any payment made from Capitec before the cutoff time clears by 8PM. This is well known around here and I know it to be the case for Capitec to FNB as I always get my SmartLoad notifications by 8PM. I've never had a Luno payment however clear before 11:55 PM. It might have changed since 13 October but it wasn't like that before and there was even a notice somewhere about it taking 4-48 hours to allocate.

Any issues sending bitcoin from luno?
Edit: Working just fine :).

Also my FNB deposit cleared within about 3 minutes.
I wasn't aware they went throufh this time of night.

Afaik Luno prefers FNB so not really a surprise if they indeed updated their systems.

You lost money because you accepted risks of trading assets, no one stole the money from you.
Stop twisting the situation to suit your agenda. The only thing me and others accepted is the risk of losing due to our own actions, not a platform being inadequately equipped to deal with trading volumes. It's different when a platform is completely unavailable than when it is only available for some. Former everyone has an equal chance, latter some lose out. And Luno did indeed take money from us for transactions it couldn't adequately perform. In my mind that is stealing.

Also if I'm not mistaken Luno along with Ice3x is still a fully licensed exchanged. So who are they licensed with? The FSB? I wonder what they would think of this situation.

LUNO, how about showing more than 2 decimal points in the app's Wallet screen ?
There's a pretty big different between 0.001 and 0.009

8 decimals will be much better for crypto wallets

is it normal for luno transactions to show different price ?

i bought when it was at 159 and 160 and luno shows transactions at 163 or am i missing something

It depends how you placed the order.
Please log a ticket with the specific transaction so we can take a closer look.

We should be displaying 6 if I remember correctly.
Mind submitting a ticket with some examples that I can look at?

Hi guys just a very quick question. My FNB to Luno FNB always clears in minutes, currently waiting since before 08:00.
Just want to know if other FNB to Luno is also experiencing delays.

I've tried reaching out to you via mail yesterday and tried calling you a few minutes ago but I can't seem to get hold of you.
I'd really like to chat to you, based on your recent posts about Luno you seem quite upset, but in order for us to get to the bottom of your queries I'll need some input from you too :)

Please let me know how you'd like to proceed.
