Looking for an adapter to plug an older Macbook into a flat screen TV.

Telly has composite; S-video and HDMI.

I have seen a lot of stuff online about this (Apple cable cannot send sound etc.) but was wondering if anyone knows of a local source for such a thing?

TIA

You need the Mini DVI to DVI adapter from Apple and then run a dvi to hdmi cable.
Or the Mini DVI to DVI adapter from Apple, a DVI-D to HDMI adapter plus normal male/male HDMI cable.

The latter is more flexible -- and probably gives you a wider selection selection of cable lengths. The signal should be good as it is purely digital at all time. As for sound - you plug into the headphone port of the Mac.

Thanks for reply.

Any thoughts on the best place to pick one up or is it basically a case of shut up and fork it over at the nearest iStore?
