So my options at the moment are as follows:
Macbook Air 11
Too small!
Macbook Air 2012
cons:
Too pricey for what people want secondhand
Macbook Air 2013 at R14000
pro's:
Latest model
Haswel with best battery life out there
Cons:
price
Macbook Pro MD101
Pros:
Larger hard drive
readily available
some at decent price, +-R2500 cheaper than Macbook Air 2012/2013 model
ethernet
upgradeable?
Cons:
weight and screen, also looks bulky but it is the pro version.
FWIW - love my MBP mid-2012. Solid all-rounder imo. The fact that I am able to (and will shortly) be able to install my own 1 TB fusion drive, with 16gb RAM, has me so pleased I never went for the MBA. Each to their own, but if the price is right, it's always going to be a reliable choice. My 2 cents.
Do you have this model?
