macbook vibrating while charging

Looks like those heads are interchangeable.

Yes you could have seen that from the iStore cable you linked in the first place.

Engineer my ass.

I would like to see where it goes to inside ,the clip is quite easy as it plugs into the 3 pin cables as well .you cant earth a double insulated item ,well you can but it then defeats the double insulation ,so that earth must bypass the adapter circuit and earth a pin on the usb c cable

I get what you mean now.

Last I opened one of these up was in the PowerBook G4 days and it was a nightmare but yes I would imagine it just bypasses the rest of it and earths the MacBook itself directly to the wall socket outlet.

effectively by earthing it they are trying to cancell out any stray harmonics in the cable and system .

Thats because it should be double insulated ,so no earth required

Yeah the problem comes in that you are working with an all metal chassis.

So this “vibration” is much like a static electricity discharge but constant.

Not all people can feel it either, or I guess they are just insulated themselves depending on what they are wearing.

I didn't say I was an electrical engineer or that I knew everything.

But you said you knew mos - so which is it? Or you just talking ****?

No, I'm an engineer. I know about power sources. So I got another 3 pin charger from another laptop with identical power output. Vibrating stopped. Please don't try it yourself if you don't know what you are doing.

The back of my screen vibrates when I rub it while charging
