macbook vibrating while charging

I've had a macbook do the a similar thing here. Its NOT vibrating its more that its discharging through you and it feels like a vibration.

It does NOT do it in Europe
It does NOT do it in USA
It does NOT do it in a few African countries.

This tells me its something specific to our electrical systems.

If I buy this cable will it ground and stop the vibrating?
That's an incredibly fast delivery by the iStore. Or did you pop in there to buy it and get back in the past 24mins?

No, I'm an engineer. I know about power sources. So I got another 3 pin charger from another laptop with identical power output. Vibrating stopped. Please don't try it yourself if you don't know what you are doing.

It did not come with the laptop. A two pin SA type plug came with the laptop.
Both with my Pro and my Air. So both vibrate.
The two pin duckbill? AFAIK all of their cables are earthed.

Ok so I shouldn't try a macbook charger on my Dell to see if it vibrates?

It's not vibration it's actually shocking you.

And yes it's because of the lack of earth on our local power supplies.

Our local power supplies are earthed. It's the duckbill's that aren't (because they're two prong).

I know some people are stupid; but it doesn't require an engineer to plug in a cable.

Also a MBP will only work with a MBP charger. Unless you just plugged a new cable into the MBP charger (brick)

Can you post a photo of the cable you got with it?

That's it.
From the istore.

I was trying to figure that out, whether he used a different computer's USB-C output to charge his MacBook and whether that's possible but I'm not an engineer so let me keep quiet.

What other laptop uses USB-C for charging? As he said he got another laptop charger...

Basically any USB C charger will charge a mac these days. I left mine at home the other day and have been charging mine with my cellphone charger since Monday.
