macOS Ventura

Jip, still using it for custom workflows. And I can’t live without that clipboard history so I doubt I’ll replace it soon. But Spotlight is nice in some scenarios.
Likewise I cannot imagine life without CopyClip.

I've always wondered why Apple doesn't include a clipboard history like Windows.

I can't overstate how awesome it is and how much I use it. It allows me to save entries as snippets, copy etc. and even shows you colours if you copy/pasted hex codes:

Even if Apple released one I doubt it will be as useful.

The lack of variables and BEM classes disturbs me.

I picked up a bug with the new settings and changing Privacy settings. The app stopped responding and you couldn't kill the app as the keyboard was unresponsive.

I was brave and installed on my main machine. No issues thus far - only had a tiny graphical glitch with stage manager. I haven't played with everything yet but I have been loving stage manager.

I had to restore back to Monterey.

Weird flickering dock when using parallels and external monitor that got annoying.

CPU usage also inconsistent so fans stayed on quite often. I’ll wait for 13.1.

Got bored and updated last night. So far so good but I've got a backup if things go pear shaped.

I used Continuity Camera for the first time today and I'm pretty impressed how well it worked - especially the Centre Stage effect. Have to be careful with that though. The missus came close enough that it zoomed out until she was in the shot.

Also annoyingly it just takes over your phone camera every time without asking until you turn it off at the device level.

Still trying to figure out if Stage Manger is worth it, I have a 43" Super Ultra Wide Curved monitor. My 14-inch MacBook Pro is plugged into the monitor all day every day. It seems to be one of those features that are only worth it if you don't have an external display.

I’ve only got my 13” MBA's screen and I can’t see the point of it.
