You should still get a stand - even a cheap R100 one will make a helluva differenceI guess I was too hasty...I got it working fine and the mount is not compulsory
It will work even if you keep it in your hand![]()
I'm going to wait for the Belkin iPhone Mount to arrive locally. You should still get a stand - even a cheap R100 one will make a helluva difference![]()
If anything I'll wait for the inevitable knock off. I don't make nearly enough video calls to justify R600 on that. Fortunately I have plenty of other options.I'm going to wait for the Belkin iPhone Mount to arrive locally.
Belkin iPhone Mount with MagSafe for Mac Notebooks - Apple
Installed macOS Ventura earlier, the major reason was all the Apple apps on my Mac would become non responsive (Mail, Contacts, FaceTime, Messages, Notes and so on), only a reboot would fix the issue. I've had this issue for the past couple of months, didn't really affect me as I don't use any of those apps.
Hopefully the AWS CDK, Azure SDK for Python and Terraform don't give issues. It's my personal Mac, if it was a work machine I'd have waited.

No issues with AWS or Terraform for me.
Can’t comment on Azure.
Python I’ve only had issues with thing hard coded to call Python which isn’t aliased to Python3 by default.
The theoretical problem I have with the Belkin option is you're still going to have that same crappy upshot angle you get with the built-in camera. Then there's the added risk of toppling some of the lighter laptops.Nah, I stay away from knock-offs. It's a personal preference I guess.

Unfortunately not.do you have access to a 3D printer?
Maybe explain why we should care.
The idea is quite self explanatory. Check the (many) replies & see if YMMV wrt Ventura.Maybe explain why we should care.
