I’m personally not, my iMac is too old to support it. Looking at getting a MBA in Dec & once I do I will be sure do share my findings. What are you running Ventura on?

I do not get stage manager, at all.Sorry to hear some folks are having a hard time with Ventura. I haven't had a single issue, and Stage Manager has changed my life. Epic update for me.

Stage manager is a solution in search of a problem.Same.
Also why the hell they needed to **** with System Preferences.
But otherwise no issues at all.
Yeah, I have issues with pop-ups in outlook bombing stage manager out. I have to close and reopen it, otherwise it's unresponsive.Likewise, minor graphical glitches here and there, but I haven't had anything go tits up on me at all.
I'm rethinking this since I noticed this morning that they've removed the ability to create new network locations without using Terminal. Also why the hell they needed to **** with System Preferences.
It's just faster app switching. Instead of hitting a tiny icon you get a huge hit box in a much more convenient location (and with a visual preview of the app), and only in spaces where it's convenient to do so. It's phenomenal imo when working with a single display area.I do not get stage manager, at all.
I don't see how it's faster than say the cmd+tab app switcher or swiping up for mission control. Plus neither of those eat up 10% of my screen real-estate.It's just faster app switching. The spaces where I'm using Stage Manager aren't running any apps that need all available screen space. I can pack a ton of stuff like Discord, Slack, Notion, Canary, Notes, Messages, Telegram etc. into a single space and use Stage Manager to switch between them in a really pleasant and quick manner. And it doesn't impact the space that is just my web browser full screen, or the next space over which is my software development stuff. I don't want to be tabbing between a gazillion icons across the entire system.I don't see how it's faster than say the cmd+tab app switcher or swiping up for mission control. Different strokes. I run almost all of my app windows maximised so that 10% SM eats is wasteful. One dock like app is enough - if I need a specific app then it's already waiting there waiting for me.
I have a SmartDNS that can slow things down so I like to be able to enable it if/when necessary. What do you need it for?
Same.I can’t stand MacOS’s fullscreen mode.
The only two apps I can run fullscreen without them looking silly imo are Firefox and VS Code. Do you have a small monitor or something?Different strokes. I run almost all of my app windows maximised so that 10% SM eats is wasteful. CMD+Tab just works.

Yes, I work on a laptop screen but I do a lot of image work. Photos, videos, graphics, etc are all easier to work on the bigger they are, regardless of how big the actual screen is.The only two apps I can run fullscreen without them looking silly imo are Firefox and VS Code. $100 for what? MacOS is always free. So, the $100 ?, is it worthwhile upgrading?
