If he worked for DStv I am not sure he would have gone to so much trouble to explain how to crack Macrovision and CGMA. If anything I would say this guy worked for Nightlight!
I've been recording on my LG DR389 DVD Recorder since the start of TopTV with no problems. Use the RF Cable (supplied with TopTV decoder, guess that's why they packaged it in the box), connect to decoder (RF-Out) and to the recorder / pc tv card (RF-In). Works like a bomb, picture quality & sound recorded is even better than previous DSTV DSD1110 decoder recordings done via AV connections in the past. If you want cool view back quality use your RGB-Out (YPbPr) on your recorder to connect to your TV/LCD/PLASMA as well as the audio (L-R Out). Just don't remember to set your dvd recorder to the "Prog 1 channel" when you record. Unfortunately Macrovision is present on their decoder and it can't be removed not even by them, because of copyright laws dictates that. Now sit back with a "ice-cold beer" and enjoy those recordings! - Cheers
stop revealing your secrets guys... TTV and dstv are all ears here and are investigating which options works best and then will develop a strategy to curb you from doing so in the future... be smart and IM each other or move to another forum not monitored by either role players...
What I am talking about is that ajax said it is only mono sound through RF. I want to know whether he is surer about it. I have a av to RF encoder that I use to send movies from my media player to my TV in my bedroom. That little cheap device is stereo, so I cannot think that any new device made will only be mono.
