Major outage at Capitec

Since last night we are also waiting for my wife's salary to reflect in her Capitec account.

Wife's salary finally appeared now. Her employer reports multiple employees with Capitec moaning about delayed payments.

You know how they started out, right? Before all the ex-Boland Bank people joined in?

Nothing against them, very skilled people working there - developers I have worked with before. So I am wondering what was the cause here.

Paid a cool R350 today for my Natis papers after settling the car - one less bank for me.

Now just to settle the house and then it is bye bye ABSA too.

If it is the kind that have "branches" in buildings, the ones that have "telephones" they insist to call you on, asking you to recite all the numbers about you - those are the ones I am trying to get as far away as possible from.

The real banks I use, no branches, the physical infrastructure people at times have to use to get old school stuff like cash, well the ATMs are not theirs and they do not charge for the use of either.

I would really love to be able to share the shiitI have uncovered in their apps over the last year with him since nobody else in the company seems to have enough braincells to grasp the problems explained and showed with screen shots and a lot of data.
