Big Capitec outage

Capitec was hit by a significant service outage on Thursday — with online banking, mobile banking, card payments, and ATMs offline.

Several customers vented their frustration at the issues on Twitter and Downdetector.

Must be the worst banking app out there. So much downtime on this app, other banking apps are far superior to Capitec. Often thought of changing to another bank because of the constant issues on this app. Just the fact that their IT guys are flummoxed by these problems is evident by the 2 days of recent downtime.

Also Absa App has its fair share of downtime and verification not properly working.

FNB app and online website makes zero sense. Not sure if it experience a lot of downtime, but it does make own feel down at times.
