The breeding. The normal ones are the ones I have. Then you get the American Pitbull x Staffordshire cross (AmStaff) and the Bully (Which is also a kind of Staffie x Pitbull cross.)
The normal Pitbulls have longer legs as to where the AmStaff and the Bully are being bred to be short and bulk.
What the actual difference is with regard to temperament and the likes I honestly don't know. But all 3 are classified as Pitbulls in layman's terms
Ok thanks, reason I asked is the neighbours dog is rather hyper and is constantly tearing up things and growling to itself, where as A mate of mines dog is a brown pitbull and just lounges around all day, I must add though he takes the dog out regularly on the beach so it gets plenty of exercise.
