I signed up for F1 TV Pro after I cut the cord. Dirt cheap. Comprehensive coverage. Massive archive. No regrets at allThe only reason I still have it is F1..
Even then, they are on short finals.
It is very definitely a "generational thing".As a father of two little ones and a millennial myself (mid-thirties) I find it difficult to understand this sentence.
In my case, DSTV Premium would be nice to have for cartoons and sport and movies and such, but its by far and away too expensive. I'd rather use the money for faster Internet + another streaming service. Also I find it kinda boring and it sucks that its not on-demand.
My (much) older sister and her husband love their DSTV but also don't mind slower Internet. By contrast my younger brother and his wife have the fastest Internet and no DSTV. My mother has snail-paced Internet but DSTV Premium. All the younger people we know do not have DSTV at home. This is why I said it seems to be a generational thing.
I feel like you are overstating their problems. MultiChoice definitely sees the competition coming, heck they even trying to co opt them with that cringy set up on their new decoder (although it could get less cringe with the proposed fibre plus premium deal in the works).Streaming services. They will not see the competition coming. Currently we don't really have streaming services that cover rugby, cricket etc. But they will come, even if regulation requires. Only practical alternative currently is iptv, but not so legal.
Channel 205 (Football) is all bouqets whereas the Rugby/Golf/Tennis/Motorsport is only on Premium. Those I'd love to see.
Meaning?
If he's so sure of himself, why isn't channel 205 Premium-only?Channel 205 (Football) is all bouqets whereas the Rugby/Golf/Tennis/Motorsport is only on Premium.
He's suggesting that folks will return to the Premium bouquet if rugby returns. Why doesn't he make SS Football available to Premium subscriber only and see if soccer fans choose to upgrade, thereby completely negating the need for rugby to achieve the same.If he's so sure of himself, why isn't channel 205 Premium-only?
What the point you're trying to make with this question is what I meant.
I'm sure Premier League coverage used to only be on Premium... It isnt anymore I seeChannel 205 (Football) is all bouqets whereas the Rugby/Golf/Tennis/Motorsport is only on Premium.
