Geez! where did you guys get your copy? I thought its only going to be released in SA next week.

I've installed it, trying to play it now but it won't load.
I click on Play and it just doesn't do anything.

*sigh*

If your playing on vista make sure you are running it as admin. Right click run as admin. If on XP I have no idea.

Okay fellas, throw me a fricken bone here :D so hows the story? more epic than Kotor? Planescape Torment?

I've fixed my problem buddy.

How did you fix it?

Anyway, I just had my first crash. Graphics corruption, and then a lock up. Can't be gpu temps, 'cos they're constantly output on my G15, and nothing was particularly warm. Driver's perhaps?

I get odd lockups on this system, with Crysis it bombed once, then after a restart I played for hours. Same with COD4. And it happens so seldom, I cannot pinpoint what the problem might be. :(

But I digress...

I removed OpenAL which was a suggestion from the one guy on the forums (Bioware) and that seems to have solved my problem.

Maybe try using newer or older graphics drivers.

One thing that's been bugging me, when I open the map, each squad member and myself have little arrows showing the direction we are facing. For some reason, they are all about 90degrees off to the right of whichever direction we are facing.

Had me running in circles for a bit. Has anyone else seen this?

I had this too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D haha.

It's frikkin' annoying. :/ I'd check the map, and see ah ok, thataway, head off, only to run into the edge of the map. :)

Just checked, its fine when I start off on the ship, once we land on Eden Prime its out of whack. The 'north' pointer on the 'compass' thingy is also off by 90, probably a bug on the map.
