Mass effect

From what I heard you can install one copy of the game on three different PCs (with online activation). Is that true? If so my friend and I want to split the price between us.

Thats a securom feature... not Mass effect feature...

Heaven help the guy though that needs to install it on an upgraded machine...

Will result in a "failure"...

I hate copy protections with a passion, why not make good games and people will buy the games and not need to copy the damn things! :(

Yeah had a look now:

Q: How many installations will SecuROM allow from my copy of MEPC?

A: Since SecuROM has nothing to do with the installer, you can install and uninstall on the same machine over and over again without any problems. SecuROM also allows you to activate the game on 3 different machines.

Looks like my friend and I will be able to install one copy on both our systems. But if either of us upgrade our systems it might get interesting.

Game is damn awesome. Activated last night, no probs.

Game looks damn cool, but got exam this weekend, so no gaming till then... :(

ok kalahari message saying: "your order is on its way" ... does that mean i can still get it today????

If you bought it yesterday before 12, then yes, maybe.
Otherwise, call them, make up some story about how you're on leave from tomorrow and need the delivery TODAY! (if you ordered it yesterday of cause) then they'll 'rush' the courier company! :D

I do that so often ;)
Every courier place knows me, I have f'all patience :D

/me wants a report on all the pretty pretty and if the game is awesome from you chaps ...... then I might buy it :D

ordered it today ... be nice to still get it today ;)

Nah dude, tomorrow.
That now then means they've processed your payment, its been received, its been packaged and been put in a box or something for the couriers to collect, so it will be with you tomorrow by 12.
