Some deaths are inevitable. It is for the greater good of humanity. Remember how MLK, Gandhi, Charlie Kirk were assassinated ? They died for cause, isn't it.

Okay so what do you tell the cops when you have a cricket bat on the train, do you tell them you carry it for self defence seeing that you didn't bring your batting pads with you? If you can carry a weapon for self defence, why not a tazer or mace?

You have your bat and a ball in a bag, legal possession.

Probably easier to have a nice heavy walking stick or heavy duty umbrella though.

I guarantee you, everybody will be moving rather rapidly in the general direction of away from a knifeman, leaving a clear shot for several armed commuters without endangering each other.
