Messi vs Ronaldo

Im laughing at the United fans saying the ref had a bad game and that Ronaldo should not have been sent off :D

I know there was no whistle but he thought there was. That is way different to trying to score a goal with your hand.

Look, if he had tried to use his hand to score then I would say, fine, give him a 2nd yellow. But that decision, was poor.

Any handling in the box is a straight card!!!

And I am laughing at you.

We won 1-0.

You don't even support anyone. How sad.

Isn;t there some La Liga for you to watch?

My team is on TOP of La Liga with a 8 point lead. Where is your team laying on the log?

For once i can symphatise with the cry baby. He had a clear header when he decided to catch the ball so he must have thaught he heard the whistle...HOWEVER he only has himself to blame for being sent off after once again showing his poor character when he sarcasticly clapped his hands at the Ref ater being cautioned for fouling SWP.

So his now hearing things in his head?
There was no whistle from the crowd that could have sounded like the refs whistle.

What he did was a bookable offence end of story.

I cannot abide by that.

Gary Bailey pointed that out in the studio. The ref had a poor game because he was affected by his emotions and by the crowd. He is meant to be impartial. In this game, he was not. That is poor refereeing.

You cannot send someone off just because you don't like them. It does not work that way.

If he didnt take the ref for a pop then i dont thnk he would have gotten that second yellow.

What are you talking about?

Is this yet another rule I have to explain to you?

Handball has to be intentional to warrant a yellow card.

lol so players can go around picking up the ball saying "oh im sorry thought u blew" and not be booked.

Go learn the offside rule before you debate about football.

I don't know what he heard. Point is, he was not trying to score a goal, or gain an advantage. It was an honest mistake.

But you would want him sent off for doing nothing, so it is no surprise that you support the red.

Anyway, 1-0 to United, a good away win.

That is not what professional referees should be thinking at all. You judge each player and each incident for what it is. It should have nothing to do with who the player is the does or does not commit the infringement.

Yeah, cos that is the same thing. How pathetic, once again. Stick to the topic at hand. If you can't handle the debate, then leave. Or STFU at least.

lol gary bailey, the same gary bailey who comments on manchester matches wearing a man u top.

The skysports in studio guys thought he should be sent off and that consists of redknapp and rud guillet.

You have never explained anything to me regarding football.

Handling in the box is a STRAIGHT card!! IT WAS INTENTIONAL!!!! I dont care whatever reason u give, he put his hands up and handled the ball. That is a card no matter what angle u look at it.

You just dont handle the ball off a corner, even if u hear a whistle. LoL

Its the referees decision whether or not to give a yellow. Some fouls they will give it and some they wont(Like fletchers foul) even though they also deserve a yellow.
Taking the ref for a fool wont help your case.

Is that Ruud Gullit? Or someone else.

Believe it or not, it is possible to have an allegiance and not be biased. You would not know about that though.

I agree with that. It was not a good idea to clap the ref. But to suggest the only reason he got that second yellow was because he did, suggests the ref is affected in that way, which would make him a poor ref indeed.

hahahah @ Henry

Just cos Gary Bailey said that now he thinks it is a written law! :D:D

The ref had a great game. Only one error which was the linesman on Rafael.

Oh but in Henry's world, Gary Bailey aka his role model said the ref had a bad game, so Henry will have to agree with that. :)

LOL, calm down kid.

It is a debatable decision whichever way you look at it.

Bottom line is we got a solid away win. :)
