Metro 2033 scary?

FEAR was scary.. Haven't played it, but watched people played.. even watching was scary lol :P

I stalker also a scary game?
 
Hmmm, All the scary games mentioned all have different scares though. Like silent hill, it's scary no doubt, but I didn't leave skid marks in my pants, more like a "ahh, man, I really really shouldn't do this because <insert something> will happen". Doom 3, you have limited light, and you know that something is breathing down your neck all the time, I found it a lil more scary than silent hill because of that. Hell, in Doom 3, you hit a point where all you do is run away from creatures, turn around and shoot into darkness :p.

And yes, there should be a Doom 4 coming out :p. I just hope that it's as unpredictable as Doom 3, where you go from something weird happening, to zombies, to monsters that can't be explained, to sitting in Hell (literally Hell), with an evil scientist doing his business :p.

Lekker, immersive environment. When some infected dog pack starts hunting you, it's awesome. Or there's the invisible thing that slashes your face...

Even the human foes can jump you.

Great stuff :)

Yeah I guess you're right, the limit in light was the killer in Doom 3...

Sigh you're looking forward to Doom 4? Sigh.. never lol :P

I played Metro 2033 a bit today, it seems to be more of a shoot and kill than scary type.. but sometimes it's scary, maybe it gets worse, don't know..

I dunno, the atmosphere of Metro makes it scary for me, when you wander into a tunnel and you can only hear these things and never see it. I ***'d myself a few times in this game.

Dead Space is a great game. Really worth the time to get used to the 'over the shoulder' angle.
Doom III was awesome, one of my all time favourites. Really loved playing that from 11pm onwards only every night till the end.

Talking about scary games.. Condemned was one crazy scary game / hardcore game. Didn't get all that much publicity, but totally worth playing. Had the biggest fright of my life playing it... had such a scare that I found myself staggering back from my PC, shocked... with my scalp prickly from (Saltpeter?)
...and I'm pretty hardened to scary/freaky games.

Amnesia is one of the latest scary games, but a very different type of game though as you have NO weapons and your character itself collapses with fear on occasion...
Great times, but best enjoyed after 10pm at the earliest for max entertainment.

I see.. but is dead space also scary? Like Doom 3 type of Left for dead type? I got used to the over-shoulder thing because of RE 5... that was an awesome game~! Nothing scary about it and it's just great..

I heard of amnesia.. mm don't know if I have it lol..

If you like scary games, give "Amnesia: the dark descent" a try....eiiiish! I really really enjoyed that game.

At one point you need to walk through water and encounter a water monster.....after that, you're too **** scared to tread in any other water in the game....man that messed with my head....

Yeah, there's some scare in there ;) a little bit of a Doom 3 type scare i guess, but it's more like adrenaline pumping as you enter a room seemingly empty, but once you're in the middle it starts teeming with alien life wanting to tear you apart and you run for your life firing for dismemberment to slow them down (and kill them) as you go. (It's quite graphic)

Honestly lots of fun.
