Which ISP are you using on the MFN Network?

When I previously had 1000/250 package i used to hit 960Mbps xD

Yeah for Centurion and PTA East MetroFibre has some sort of loadbalanced NLD setup fort backhaul to Teraco. Single thread is around 720Mbps while multithread I max the line. There is a difference in latency between IPv4 and IPv6 also that seem to support this theory.

Previously in Amberfield I was maxing my line at ~955Mbps single thread.

You at least have decent ping, I am stuck on 20 ping to any speed test server, staying in Gqeberha sucks
With the recent change, it should drop to 12ms to Cape Town. Give it a shot, assuming you're also on MFN.
I'm fairly close to you in the "baai" and mine dropped recently. It looks like MFN may have a new NLD according to @AfriNatic, but he was not able to confirm :)

It did drop, but my ping is back to around 20 again, my international latency is back to over 200 again... and 200 ping when playing a competitive shooter does not help you

Expecting updated signs in Eastern Cape  What do you think this is? Some kind of first world province?
First world province of Western Cape also says PE. Same with KZN and Free State. I drove from CT to DBN, didn't see one sign to qkjhfkulsdhfkls.

Oh you're from EC? Condolences.

Why you in a thread about Fibre. Aren't you okes still banging two cans together with string or something?
I moved from Centurion. I didn't feel challenged enough by my circumstances in Centurion, needed more victim points. Now I have no water, no electricity and no roads.

On the fibre topic, though, my latency improved quite a bit in the last month. It was fairly annoying to have 20ms+ to Cape Town and almost 40ms to JHB. Apparently MFN routed through Bloem from EC, but looks like they have a more direct route to CPT now, which is welcoming.
