I'm switching ISPs away from Metrofibre Direct to Web Africa.
On 26 September Metrofibre came to remove the ONT and replace it with a new one. The new ISP cannot get the line activated because MFN Direct doesn't want to cancel the package and release the line.
Metrofibre says "cancellations carry a 30 day notice" and they "cannot release the line before the expiry date". So why remove the working ONT early then?
Well played Metrofibre. Best revenge for cancelling...
Metrofibre takes the ONT with an activated fibre line, I've paid for the full month already (which I'm perfectly fine with) but they refuse to release the line so that I can get my internet service reactivated with the new ISP. Well done!
How can I just get Metrofibre to release the line? They've got my money already so they've got absolutely nothing to lose by just releasing the line?!
Are there any Metrofibre reps or anyone that can assist?
