Hi Guys
Anyone know what model ONT MFN is currently rolling out with new fibre builds ?

I’ve been reading some threads here about the Calix ont/router and how horrible it is when you try to connect your own router to it.

801/803 was what ive seen as a stand-alone ONT that will connect to my Asus router and allow me full functionality.

Any advice will be appreciated

Hey Zanai, MFN usually use the Calix 813G & 844G units for MFN Direct ISP users.

If you use another ISP, the 803 is used as a mesh unit which will connect to the ISP's router.

I suggest asking MFN or your ISP if you can use your ASUS router & link it to the mesh unit.

Thank you Devan
My neighborhood is currently being build by MFN , I’m not going to use them as a isp , I would like to user HC or CI for the 200/200.

MFN says that I can have the fibre dropped to my lounge free off charge during the build phase, which is great and this will be done on Tuesday. Will they also install the ONT or just the termination point.

I’m trying to get out off the installation charges from the isp? If that makes sense

I signed up with MFN for their ISP service. They installed the termination point & an ONT.

If you use another ISP, you will get a mesh unit which will connect to the ISP's router.

Good luck & let us know how it goes!
