And what will SP1 help with exactly? Sorry but seems like a scapegoat excuse.

Fix all the problems that comes with every single OS.

XP was the worst OS till SP3!
After SP3, XP finally reached "greatness" (or at least, for me it did)

What I can't understand in the final release of 7, is that, in the BETA, it found all my drivers (PC in question) - in the RTM release, It can't find anything, so I have to reinstall all my drivers.

I remember going from 98 to XP, XP found everything...

XP's 'major issues' upon release were not as bad by a mile as what Vista's been doing. When people make unqualified remarks like yours everyone thinks that the XP transition to Vista was as bad as Win9x to XP.

Yikes the transition from 98 to xp was pretty hard, memory was like 5 rand a meg, windows xp was expensive to run with 1gb memory so tons of people ram it on 128 256 and 512 which was horrible. Windows XP before sp1 was horrible with crashes, drivers, blue screen, ran poorly on older hardware. It was really harsh as bad as vista i reckon. Some people even had it loaded on systems with 64 meg ram hahaha.

Tell us a secret Pete, did you at all install and tried Vista? We already know you NEVER tried Windows7 therefore the reason you are such an exspert on it.

Yup he is quick is call unqualified but he has never used vista or windows 7, yet he calls others unqualified
