I need to replace my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 because the hard drive is too small. Only 14Gb of 128GB left:cry:
A new one, Pro 2017, i5, 8GB ram, 256GB SSD will set me back R21500 (going to UK next week so can get it there)
What alternatives should I consider?
I do like the Surface!
Thanks

Alternative is a HP Spectre x2 or Elite X2, various configs, muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch cheaper overseas than here

But do keep in mind, nothing has the same battery life of the new surface pro 2017 ..yet

Why dont you just plug a 128GB or 256GB microSDXC card in the card slot ?

You don't really need a new Surface Pro.

This is what I do.

I bought a Lenovo Miix 700 from Amazon last year for $550. 8gb RAM, 256gig harddrive. They've recently released the Miix 510. Should be able to get that around the same price. Almost every laptop maker has a tablet with keyboard running fully fledged Windows 10 now. Stay away from the ones that run Windows RT. Best bet is to buy on Amazon. I've seen the equivalent items in SA with 100% mark ups.

Problem with the 510 is the horrible battery life, better off sticking with the Miix 700 or if you want backlit detachable keyboard then go for hp/microsoft
